Hello neighbors!

Can you believe we're already halfway through October? Time really does fly when you're living in one of the best communities in metro Atlanta.

The weather's finally cooling down (well, Georgia's version of cooling down), and this weekend is absolutely packed with everything that makes fall in our community special. From pumpkin patches to Diwali celebrations, there's truly something for everyone – whether you're looking for family-friendly morning activities or adult evening entertainment.

We've got some exciting news on the business front too – new restaurants are opening their doors (including that South African flame-grilled chicken spot everyone's been talking about), and High Street continues to evolve with new wellness options. Plus, if you're in the market for a home or just like to browse what's available, we've found some interesting listings across all price points.

And speaking of community updates, there's a lot happening on the civic front with early voting underway for City Council seats and the recent passing of Dunwoody's 20-year comprehensive plan. We'll fill you in on all the details below.

So whether you're planning your weekend adventures, looking for the perfect pumpkin, or just want to know what's new in the neighborhood, we've got you covered. Let's dive in!

Best,
Andrew

4th Annual Perimeter Pumpkin Patch Festival

Dunwoody Nature Center
5343 Roberts Drive
Saturday, Oct. 18
10 AM – 3 PM

Mark your calendars for the 4th Annual Perimeter Pumpkin Patch Festival! This isn't just your average pumpkin patch – we're talking a full-on fall extravaganza. The kids will lose their minds over the petting zoo (baby goats, anyone?), while you sneak in those adorable fall photos you've been planning since Labor Day.

Food trucks will be serving up everything from kettle corn to BBQ, face painters will be working their magic, and that giant inflatable slide will keep the energy levels high. Pro tip: arrive early for the best pumpkin selection – last year's crowd cleaned out the patch by 2 PM! Free event with free parking.

🔥 Nando's PERi-PERi - Flame-Grilled & Fiery

The South African flame-grilled chicken chain has been quietly converting Dunwoody into peri-peri fanatics one butterfly-cut chicken at a time. Their tangy-spicy sauce hits different, especially when paired with their peri-salted chips. Fair warning: even the "mild" has a kick. You've been warned.
